I do like the 360 view of the detailed interior of the space shuttle, fellow astronauts defy gravity, floating around working in space.
The VR application makes perfect sense to offer the user experience a day in the life of an astronaut. That said, watching the same film in a cinema IMAX setting with better resolution and a gigantic screen could have been a more immersive experience.
